A fantastical story about a picture of a hummingbird
$10-30 USD

I have a painting of a hummingbird that comes from a 200 year old natural history publication. I want a fantastical (but not totally unbelievable) fictional story of where the painting came from that evokes emotions in the reader (laughter, surprise, whatever).
The picture looks like this: https://img0.etsystatic.com/055/0/7397722/il_570xN.747642692_iams.jpg.
Also, the story/description should be around 100-200 words.
Edited word count: something around 200-300 words would be ideal, 400 is ok, 500 is probably the absolute maximum. 150 would probably be the absolute minimum (disregard the 100 I mentioned in the post).
Purpose: I am auctioning the "painting" (it's actually a print) off in a fundraiser event. I wanted a witty, interesting, story about the fictional illustrator (an adventurer?) and his/her main subject, the Trochilus Eurynome hummingbird, and perhaps a little about why he/she painted the bird. Of course, it will be noted that this is a fictional story (and the funny, fantastical nature of the story might tip readers off anyways). This story would accompany the print, and the hope was that it would make readers want to have the print more, and bid more for it.
See attachments for photos of the print.

Hello, I'd love to write your story, but I'm not able to open the file with the picture. I need to see what kind of drawing or painting it is, in order to build the story. Can you send it again please? Thank you!

I will write a story about the hummingbird looking for its lost mate after a thunderstorm separated them. The picture will be of him finally seeing her.
