I need help to automatically rename scanned receipts based on OCR of the date, shop name and credit card used in the receipt. Steps in the process: 1. I scan receipt using Google Drive scan app 2. The file is uploaded to a specific folder in Google Drive 3. An IFTTT notices a new file is uploaded and starts a program which scans the file for a date, the vendor's name and the credit card used. 4. The file is renamed and then moved to one of several folders depending on the credit card used.

How many google drive apps have you written and how many IFTTTs have you used? Have written several google scripts apps for mail, sheets and drive and have played around with IFTTT but have yet to use it in anger. For commercial purposes (clients) I have so far used Proposal: Because I get things DONE. ....but before we go there: why don't you use something that already works like waveapps ? let's chat and I'm sure we'll find a solution that works for you ! Cheers, Roland
