Design (2) Banners / Mastheads for our Intranet

We are looking for a creative designer who can think outside of the box and design two Banners / Mastheads for our companies Intranet site. The first banner is for our home page / splash page, I have attached our mockup, with a demo graphic [login to view URL] This banner needs to 977px width 320px height (the height can be smaller if need be) We would to retain the curve or blend the background into white space similar to the the demo layout The attached logo [login to view URL] will need to go in the top left corner. The color scheme for the banner, should complement our logo colors. I can provide our companies 8 primary hex codes we use on web sites, but we are open to out of the box design Our Intranet is called Powerweb and our company is one of the top energy management companies in the world specialing in smart energy meters and energy management software. Our preference is for a picture of a landscape that is pleasing to the eye, and potentially contains some of our companies values the values of this site are Global Collaboration, Energy Conservation, Eco-Friendly, Innovation, Energy #2 The second banner should be similar to the first banner as we will be using it on our sub sites. Please refer to the [login to view URL] and please ignore the color scheme, it is merely a mockup. The banner will need to sit in the vertical column where the Powerweb logo and navigation will reside 100px height width - these pages have no set width therefore this banner will need to be friendly to a page that can expand to any width. I'm not a designer so I'm not sure how this works Our main focus is on the first banner and the second banner may not be used if it doesn't fit into the site.
