Company logo (identity) for 'Australian Academy of Sports & Culture'

We require a corporate identity that is fresh, dynamic, and polished. It needs to be strong and modern, with an authoritative and 'official' feel that can be held alongside other high-end and official sporting bodies such as Tennis Australia, IMG, FIFA, Australian Institute of Sport, etc... We would prefer a strong and contemporary font. We would also prefer to use the following colours: Black, Grey, Red. However, We are open to other alternatives if presented. Initial thoughts have centred around the uses of an iconic Australian image such as a boomerang or kangaroo. The Southern Cross stars could also feature. The key is to communicate movement and action. Please refer to the attached reference images for more guidance. The logo should contain the initials: AASC and the full name: Australian Academy of Sports & Culture The key deliverable should be a logo in .AI format. A brand book or mock up stationary/business cards would also be well received.
