First off I'd like to thank you for considering me for this project. I'm very excited to get started on updating KBL's logo and brand identity. Before we get started I'd like to tell you why I think I'm right for this project. First off, I love to design logos. Prior to receiving a formal education in graphic design I was creating logos at no cost simply because I enjoyed doing so. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, I'm driven by client satisfaction. While this might sound like a bunch of self-marketing hooey, It's what keeps me awake at night. The bottom line is if the client isn't happy then I'm out of a job. In order to ensure your satisfaction we'll begin with the design brief. This will ensure there are no surprises when I deliver your final design. Filling out a brief might seem unnecessary, but I feel it is crucial to reaching the goals of the client. From there I'll begin developing concepts through brainstorming and other methods based on the information included in the brief. The best three will be presented to the client where one will be chosen for approval. Finally, a digitized version will be presented which can be revised as many times as necessary. I'd also like to note that in addition to the logo and other deliverables a basic style manual will be included which delineates the specifics for logo use.
