It was established in 2002 by my father, Daniel Wooldridge. We provide a service that is both vital and valuable to our customers. How We Operate Here is how it works. A customer is doing a TILE JOB (house, office, etc), and they come to the problem where the tile bullnose they need to complete their tile job isn't available properly. Basically, the customer has done lots of legwork and homework so far, and therefore the tile choice they choose is a pretty final deal. Especially if they get some sort of closeout or other special deal on their tile. However, they need it bullnosed. But they find out it can be easier said, then done. Here are some common problems customers face: (1 The Tile Manufacturer DOES NOT make bullnose for said tile (very common problem) (2 Tile Manufacturer DOES NOT offer bullnose in the size and/or edge configurations that the customer needs. (3 Tile Manufacturer HAS the bullnose BUT it will take 4 weeks for it to arrive (4 Tile Manufacturer HAS the bullnose BUT it is too expensive. (5 Tile Manufacturer HAS the bullnose BUT the color and/or profile isn't to the customers tastes, The GOOD: Our service has successfully solved these problems for 1000's of customers on both a local and national level. -Est. 2002 -No outstanding prop. tax due -More cash savings ((overall asset level higher then ever) then in the past due to shrewd and frugal book keeping. -We socked away substantially more savings in 2013 then in 2006, even though gross was SIX times higher in 2006. -This is due to diligence, frugality, owner-operating - minus (1) part time employee -Excellent reputation in the local tile community -54 Facebook likes (that's either a good or a bad) -Established web pages, the most established being [login to view URL] which was first started in 2006. It places #1 on Google on many search results, and is a regular stream of customers. -Strong long-term business relationships with large tile stores & distributors -Strong long-term business relationships with Tile setters, Contractors, Builders, Handymen & other skilled trades -Regular stream of DIY customers (both repeat and first time) Apprx. 70% of our business comes from word of mouth / preexisting business relationships. A strong 30% come from finding us solely on Google/Craigslist (PROBLEM: many were referred to us in a tile store by say an employee at home depot, and so the customer will remember our name, type us into Google, and we show up, they call us, and 9 times out of 10 it leads to the customer bringing in at least ONE ORDER. The BAD: -Sharp decline between 2006 ($411,356 gross) and 2011 ($77,456 gross) 2012: $54,576 gross 2013: $68,785 gross 2014 (so far): $43,456 gross. -Industry has moved towards the direction of (now) more inexpensive solid surface slabs -Economy isn't as robust as before for the housing and construction markets as a whole I could go on and on, but need someone serious, that has the skills, common sense and most importantly the drive to push Bullnose World LLC into the powerhouse it is destined to become.
