The ecommerce platform for the selling of tour packages can be developed. Tour operators signup as vendors and post their tour packages. The site home page to display the different tours offered by the platform. Users can search the tours based on search criteria. Tour details include availability dates in a calendar display. The site users are: Customers, Tour operators, Customer service reps, Site admin. Customer dashboard: a. Can update the profile details b. My Orders section to display the c. Wallet - To update billing addr, payment details etc., d. Inquiry section e. Wishlist Tour operator: a. Signup and create their products. b. Can create their store and customize with their logo. c. Product management d. Manage users, e. Manage orders Site Admin: a. Can manage all the site content and users and orders. b. Manage Orders, customers, sellers, c. View analytics data d. Update static content of the site. e. Advt management, banners. f. Support Ticket system TripAdvisor API - To integrate the api to display the tour operators rating inot the site. Social sharing and social media links of the operators. Platform to be used for developement: The web application can be developed using WordPress Dokan, booking plugin and other relevant plugins.
