Design 2 versions of a Logo

We are a frozen food manufacturing company in Chicago and want to redesign our logo. The current logo is attached and a business card is also included in the attachments with an older version our logo. A little background on the company... The name is the combination of the 2 owners names Eleni and Greg thus El Greg. The owners are of Greek ethnicity and have 2 lines of business. The one line is making American mid-western food and the other line is Greek specialty foods. We would like to create a separate logo for each line of business. One having a Greek feel to it while the other being Ethnically neutral. To see more about our company and products checkout our website at elgreg.com. [login to view URL] - The do Greek foods and American Foods. [login to view URL] - They specialize in Greek foods too. I want to create a new logo with the name of the company "El Greg" and the tagline "Food Expressions" in the logo. I want to see sample idea's with the company name and tagline that you can watermark so that I can choose a design, direction or designer that I like. You can use different font designs and colors. It can be a variation of the current logo we have or it can be something completely different, we are open to nice changes. We like the color blue, white, red, maybe some yellow. But you can use different colors if it makes the logo design look nice. Another possible suggestion is perhaps a circle, oval or square background with the wording on the foreground. Like I mentioned before in the end we want to create 2 versions of the logo. One version will be without the Greek column as seen in the attachments. The 2nd version will be with the Greek column BUT much less prominent than it is in the logo I attached. We like the column the way it is in the business card not where the red background is, but the larger one on the blue background. We like that style because its not prominent, its subtle and looks very nice. Maybe even a stencil version in the background that is noticeable but is not the first thing that someone will notice when they see it. I would like to see some different and creative solutions.
