Hi,
I was wondering should I bid or not. I have no previous experience neither with mongodb or meteor, but would really like to use them in a big project.
I have a fulltime job as a team leader of 5 juniors and two developer, but I do 25+ hours of freelance per week. I have quite big experience in JS, at least I know where and in what scope my code is :). I have used knockout and extjs in a couple of big projects (bank software and university management system). I have been written many others smaller apps/scripts using javascript.
I have knowledge in relational databases, I know what is a primary key and how to write some constraints :) or triggers. I know that mongodb is another beer, but that's why I'm bidding here. I do want to learn new tech and I think that I can grasp new things quickly. I do know how to read docs and code.
Please give one of the prepared task and try me out.
Also I do not have mac, but I use gentoo as my dev system, so as long you don't have something really specific for mac I hope to pass here. I do know what is a command line and shell, nodejs and npm :). I'm used to source control systems too (using primary git flow lately) and CI environments.
I know how to organize my time and manage tasks.
If you have read all of this thank you! At least it was a good try than. If you have any questions please ask, I would be more than glad to answer them!
Best wishes,
Nikita
