I want to have a Firefox extension that takes a screenshot from the current page, opens it in a new tab and displays it in a Javascript canvas object. The firefox extension should work both on Mac and Windows. As a reference: I would like to have something like this: [login to view URL] but the tool should only display the image in the new tab without providing all the tools from in Lightshot. This is a very urgent project and should be delivered within the following 48 hours.

Hi. I write JavaScript bookmarklets, which are like extensions that you save as a Firefox bookmark, for my own use. This would be perfect for your project. The advantage of a bookmarklet over an extension is that it is easily portable between browsers. You just save it and import it like you would any other bookmark. Although I would need to research how to take a screenshot of a page using JavaScript, this should be fairly easy to implement. Thanks for considering my bid.
