Ancient History Graphic Novel – Artwork and Layout

Seeking artist / studio to work on a graphic novel set on the battlefields of ancient Rome. The project will include 1 volume of work over a period of 2-3 months. The volume will be about 60 pages in length A4 size plus cover with 3-6 panels per page. The artist may work solo or as part of a studio team and will be responsible for creating: 1. Primary artwork for covers and inlay pages 2. Paneling and lettering (lettering can be computer generated rather than hand drawn) 3. Print ready layout and file preparation In regards to the coloring, we may engage a separate artist to help - depending on the experience / style of the primary artist and whether or not they work as part of a team. We are looking for an artist with their own unique flare / style with an interest / experience in the field - preferably a lover of the medium. Artist needs to place a bid for the work. Serious bidders must send links or jpg samples of relevant work. See folder attached for some examples of quality, color and potential styles although we are really looking for someone with their own flare. The style will be principally B/W with splashes of color / color filters and backgrounds. Files 3,4 and 5 to be provided as layered PSDs. Files 5 as inDesign files or equivalent including source files and final 300dpi PDF print file. All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
