Create an Animated Story

Our company is in the process of developing a new 3D RPG game called ‘Micros’ for iOS and Android. Motionweb Studios need an animation to advertise ‘Micros’ on the web and to introduce the game’s background story. The background story will be displayed to the end user before they begin playing the game. The key goal of the animation is to arouse interested and to set the stage for the game play and the game’s plot. Game Description ‘Micros’ is set in the middle ages and its 3D assets have been designed using a ‘Toon 3D’ style. The essential game play involves the hero (a human character) destroying the micros. When the game begins, users find themselves in a mini world. The hero must survive the waves of micros that pour into the mini world in order to survive and progress to the next level. As the user progresses through the game, the hero moves through the fantasy kingdom, working their way through a variety of different mini worlds each with their own unique set of enemies and challenges, until eventually the hero reaches the final mini world where he must fight the final boss, the Micro King. Motionweb Studios have not yet finalised the story/plot for ‘Micros’. As a result, a large amount of leeway has been provided for the creation of a compelling and interesting plot for the background story animation. The final animation and plot created for the background story will be used to influence the overall game plot. Concept art Key concept art used for the creation of the game’s 3D assets will be provided. This will assist with the creation of vector art for the animation and will ensure that the vector art created for the animation matches the 3D assets. However, the game hero has yet to be released by the Us. As a result, the central hero character for the animation will need to be designed from scratch for the animation.
