Content Writing

A project with a digital agency based in Malaysia and Hong Kong requires a Digital / Social Media Copywriter for a Taiwan-based client. Responsibilities include:
• Writing copy for social media, social ads and blogs for the Taiwan market
• Assisting in planning and executing content strategies for a range of clients
• Conceiving of creative ideas for client pitches
• Proofreading text created by the agency
• Conducting research into target audiences for creative content
• Brainstorming ideas to find the best way to attract new audiences to well-known brands
• Working cohesively with the SEO team to create text relevant to readers
• Liaising with Graphic Design to develop on-brand visuals for pitches and campaigns
The candidate is a Taiwan born and raised copywriter with a deep understanding of social media and local trends. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in tailoring messages for different digital and social media channels (language: Chinese). To be successful in this role he or she needs to be a good team player with exceptional communication skills and a confident approach to creativity.
Skills required:
• Taiwanese national (born and raised in Taiwan), native Mandarin speaker
• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Creative Writing or related field is a plus
• A minimum of 2 years’ agency copywriting experience
• Comfortable working with a team remotely
• Self-motivated, organised and proactive, eager to learn and a team player
• Passionate about marketing and familiar with the latest market trends and creative campaigns
• Keen to offer new ideas and to offer feedback, open to accept constructive criticism
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt quickly to fast-paced working environment
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and always deliver projects on time
• Previous experience in content strategy is a plus
