I want to add google shopping to our PPC campaign. At the moment we have a website that was designed by shopify - so it allows us to plug right into our adwords account. Problem is that google shopping does not seem to be activated by the correct search terms in google to help our business attract customers. For instance , using standard addwords we can pay $4 ppc to get our text add on the first page of searches. Google shopping however does not appear to understand what key words relate to our product and what key words are important to our customers. Not sure if we can create a more detailed taxonomy ??? We sell organic perfume, so you would expect that searching organic perfume in google should activate our google shopping picture etc , but it does not seem to register, and we are not sure what to do to make our google shopping and addword campaign more effective. I want someone to help us build a google shopping / add word campaign that is targeted to our customers. and understand how our shopify website plugs into it. This might become a ongoing service we require... My business partner built our website and understands coding etc quite well soI might also involve him in this project but we are both still beginners at exploring google shopping etc.
