We have our database in MySql 5.1. The database is ready and working. We need this single database to be distributed across multiple db servers. All we are concerned is to increase the throughput through replication and caching solutions. Our data is critical and needs to be online 24 * 7. The size of database may go to few terabytes which at start is less hence the system should be scalable to that extent without effecting thoughput. Also we would be having a large scale search engine based on mysql text search or if you can propose an external seach engine that works in sync with the active database. The project is complete design and implementation of this clustered mysql database with a management interface.
