Web Portal Phase 1: The project is an educational and training platform. The technology chosen to build and maintain the platform is Macromedia’s suite of tools. Requirements from a service provider is the following: JSP or ASP (all urls to be hidden), the users will be required to login and therefore DATA storage is required on ID/password and tracking of logins and time of session, An ID setup module is required ans credit cards will be accepted on the site (shopping cart). The site will have a blog area once logged in. The site will be streaming video and audio, this is being housed elsewhere and therefore a id and pass must be passed to the rendering site. Only one ID in session at a time. The users will be able to build their profile and other information. Content provides will post content directly to the site. (Cold Fusion) This information will be changing all the time.
