Hello,
I need an Android version of this app that I have already created for the iPhone. The existing app is located in the Apple app store: <[login to view URL]> I can provide a complimentary copy of the iphone app to the engineer who will be creating this app.
The app flow is as follows:
- The app starts up by retrieving json data from a URL (to be provided). The json data includes a custom map marker image URL, lat/long coordinates, and a twitter username.
- Once the json data has been retrieved, the app will download and cache all new map marker images that are found in the data. This is so that the next time the user starts up the app, they won't have to download all of the map markers again.
- The app will plot the custom markers on the google map
- The user will be able to pan and zoom around the map
- The user's current location marker (blue arrow) will appear on the map
- The user is able to tap on any individual map marker and, once that is done, a new screen will be presented that contains the web view of [login to view URL]<username> for that marker's twitter stream
- The user will be able to dismiss the twitter stream screen and will be returned to the original google map with custom markers
The project deliverable will be the app project, including java source code and resource files. I can provide an apiKey for the google map.
Thanks!
