I am searching for an experienced Java Spider programmer that can combine both speed and low cost to create a relatively complicated Spider.
The Spider will search popular torrent sites when given a keyword. The sites are:
1) [login to view URL]
2) [login to view URL]
3) [login to view URL]
4) [login to view URL]
5) [login to view URL]
6) [login to view URL]
7) [login to view URL]
8) [login to view URL]
The Spider should be extremely fast and find out the following information for each torrent:
1) Number of Seeders
2) Number of Leechers
3) Name of Torrent
4) Category of Torrent (eg: Movies, Games)
5) Size of Torrent
6) Direct Link to Torrent
There is no need to search out of torrents with less then 20 seeders.
When given a keyword, the Spider should gather 50 of the top results from each torrent website. After deleting duplicates, it should proceed to sort the torrents according to relevance (I will not accept a bad sort algorithm) to the keyword and finally return an ArrayList of Torrent Objects containing the top 100 torrents.
