CSV data into Array in javascript (for photoshop use)

I am in the process of creating various scripts to import data into photoshop for sports trading cards. I have fixed templates and all I need to do is grab the data from a player in the CVS file and insert it into the photoshop document. The first problem I'm having is finding out how to load the CVS file into an array. The second problem is how to select a piece of information from the array. It should be a pretty qui and easy fix for someone who understands javascript. A few hours should suffice to resolve the problem.
