CentOS UPS setup/repair
$30-250 USD
Paid on delivery
I have a Centos 5.9 system that has some NUT UPS monitoring software installed with an APC UPS connected. It was functional at one point but quit working at some point in the past. I would like to get this operational again. I need the following done.
I believe at some point the APC software was installed over the top of NUT which may be causing a conflict. I really don’t care which one is setup just need it working.
- Obviously detecting the UPS in the software
- Web interface functional again
- Email alerts operational again
- Shutdown prior to loss
The UPS is connected as shown below.

I will get you setup and logged in with a root shell to work on this. Please don’t send me a generic response to my query, if you are not able to work on this with very minimal input from me I would rather you not bid. I need someone who can login, work on it and have me check the work. I view this as a fairly small project. That said I frequently need other things done on my systems and would like to establish a working relationship with someone going forward.
