Hi, I'm not really bidding on this.. I just wanted to give you a heads up.. I have 1&1 for over a year.. and when I went to setup up virtual machines on my dedicated server it was nothing but issues with them. 1st I couldn't assign IP directly to the VPSs I had to setup NAT than when I set that up I had issue after issue with dropped packets.. the web work incoming but than issues out going.. web pages would load, but as soon as there was large amounts of traffic I would lose connection, and packets.. After 3 months of going back and forth with them I gave up with them and moved to another company. One that allows me to setup the IP directly on the VPSs.. 1&1 adds IPs to their VPSs not through NAT they should let their cleints as well. There is something in the way they have their firewall setup with the MAC addresses that just don't seem to work right. So just a heads up, and good luck. Owe P.S. mine was a little different my host was a windows machine running hyper-V
