I am looking for a xamarin developer to join an existing team on a new project.
The project is to develop outdoor geolocated lessons on a website which the students access via their mobile phones. Your main role is to help the senior developer/architect with development. The current team is handlign the frontend ui & server backend.
The teacher creates a class and students via the website. They then create a lesson plan via a WYSIWYG editor selecting geolocations in google map AND baidu maps. They also generate QR codes which will be placed at these locations in case the gps is off. The lesson can also be triggered by beacons & image recognition. You do not have to worry about such technology as it would be selected and chosen by the senior developer/architect of the team.
In each location, the lesson is delivered in images, text, audio & video which the lesson creator will upload and edit. At the end of each location's lesson the teacher can include a quiz as well.
Students logs in via the mobile app, downloads the lesson to start. GPS trail, time spent on each location and quiz results are all captured at the backend.
Type "schadenfreude" on the 1st line of your response to me so i know you aren't a bot :)
