Creloaded Expert only please - Subproduct issue

Hi, in our Creloaded site, each Main Product has a subproduct (usually just a color). When a Main Product's subproducts are all sold out, we'd like to disable or hide the entire product. We have had someone do this and it's close to being done, but not quite. Now if a category is chosen, the products display will show the thumbnail, but when clicked, it will show "Product not found". Someone else figured out a way to hide the product entirely, but it made the site very slow. Our developer made this work and it's pretty fast this way, but he only made it work when a category is chosen. It still needs to be changed for the NewProducts page and for the 2 search pages. I assume you can take his code and just change it. Also now, when we add new products, it doesn't show at all anywhere unless searched! We would rather the product hide entirely, but if it has to work this way, then change the "product not found" message to "This item is sold out or unavailable". We need ONLY EXPERTS with a lot of feedback need apply. This is a live, ecommerce site and we need it done fast as this posing a big problem. Thank you!
