Amendments to existing asp.net single-page website required

I need some improvements made to an asp.net v4 / sql 2008 R2 single-page website the existing site can be viewed at [login to view URL] the visual studio 2010 project and the database are both attached here. I expect the updated code to be provided back to me as a visual studio 2010 project. see detailed requirements for exact fixes required ## Deliverables These are the current issues with the site/page: items inside the pulldown menus should be listed alphabetically the table being limited to 20 rows per page is annoying - user should be able to choose amount of results per page (20,50,100,250) and if the number of results per page is longer than the user's browser height, a side scrollbar should allow them to scroll through. some queries take time to load. a loading splash of some sort should appear across the centre while waiting so the user is aware that something is happening currently, if you start afresh with no filters, first of all choose a manufacturer, then when you use the model pulldown menu, you only see models belonging to that manufacturer. This is correct. However, if you start by selecting a co2 range, then select a manufacturer, if you then go to filter by model, when you use the pulldown menu for model, you see all models for all manufacturers. the list of models displayed should always respect the manufacturer filtering that has been done, regardless of whether the first filter used was the manufacturer filter or some other filter. there are green sorting icons, but you can't click on them to sort. if you click on the actual column name, it will sort, but this is bad user experience - the presence of the green icons suggests that you should be able to click on them. a more intuitive sorting experience is required. there is an "X" above each filter which allows that filter to be cleared. I don't think it's obvious to the user that this X is for clearing the filters. More intuitive method required Pulldown menu filters allow the user to select multiples, click once to select, click again to deselect, but I don't think this is intuitive or that users realise they can select multiples. Look at [login to view URL] for a good example of an intuitive interface. the controls there are much more intuitive. because of the column sizes, sometimes the data in the results grid gets truncated. In these cases the user should be able to hover the mouse over the result to see the full text the sql query which displays at the bottom below the results grid is presumably only there to help debugging during development, and should be removed. the sliding controls do not work properly in the chrome browser The page is very ugly. I'd like some basic minimal css styling to be applied, including separate header and footer elements which can be applied to any future web pages the site will have. I don't need any time spent on design, that's something I'd like to work on myself, I just want the basic underlying css structure set up with sample headers / footers etc, and I'll do my own work on them from that point.
