I have an old website built with a customized version of ASPnuke CMS and Microsoft Access Database. I'm building a new version of this website using Wordpress 3.5.1 (or 3.6 if it will be released in time), and I need to migrate all datas, attachments and users from the old one to the new Wordpress one. Details on datas to be migrated: 1) Articles (about 250 items with Title, Publishing date, abstract, content, thumbnail and attachments). Articles are divided into 3 categories 2) Pages (about 50 pages with Title, Content, thumbnail and gerarchical relationship between parents and child pages) 3) Users (about 800 users divided in 2 categories, on Wordpress they will be divided by wp roles. No user custom fields needed) 4) Links (about 30 items divided in categories) 5) A Custom Post Types of Downloadable files (about 200 items with Title, Publishing date, abstract, content, attachment, category and a custom field with 3 options) 6) A second Custom Post Type of Downloadable files (about 500 items with Title, Publishing date, abstract, content, 2 custom fields for specific attachments, category) For creating Custom Post Types of points 5 and 6 I will likely use the Wordpress Plugin "Custom Content Type Manager" ([login to view URL]) and for managing custom fields the Wordpress Plugin "Advanced Custom Fields" ([login to view URL]) Custom post types of points 5 and 6 are divided into several gerarchical categories (about 3/4 gerarchical levels) -------------------- Deadlines: Job will start about June the 6th and MUST be finished at least for June 21th (sooner is better) -------------------- I will prefer a wordpress standard import approach (ex: building an xml file from old asp website to import stuff in wordpress) rather than a manual mysql migration. Please don't bet if you don't have skills required ------------------- Additional details will be provided in private (I will provide old website backend screenshot to see how datas is organized and a copy of the Microsoft Access DB)
