We require 4 pages (capture forms) to be added to our existing ASP web site. The pages must use a session variable that carries the login information, submit this, and the page name to a MSSQL Stored Procedure. The procedure will return existing data for editing, or will provide a list to drill down to the correct information before editing is possible. There will be data validation required but most validation will occur when the edited data is submitted back to MSSQL (a stored procedure that handles the update). The update will respond with the data submitted, where any that failed validation is replaced with a failed indicator (possibly a note). The form must highlight the failed fields, showing the data the user entered as well as the note. If all data validated successfully then the form should show the data but all editing should be locked.
There will be some logic needed for each page to decide what to do after a successful edit.
There will need to be some search input required on each of the forms to assist the user locating the correct record to edit.
All database calls will be vie Stored Procedures that will be provided, but that will designed according to the results that the coder required for the page.
