Digital Asset Management System (SQL Server, .NET)

Digital Asset Managment Web Portal using IIS, SQL Server 2000, and C# .net - working with manager/developer in US. This job consists of building the business tier and presentation tiers in C# to search for and serve digital assets through a web portal (IIS) to both Mac and PC clients. Initially this system will serve pdf reports. These reports will be imported from directories on a schedule defined in the database. The system must be scalable for other Digital Asset Management applications in the future. I have already designed the basic Database structure (SQL 2K) but it will need additional work - including minor structural modifications and writing stored procedures. Initially the interface will be primarily text based, but I may need further design later. beta Data Schema attached in zip file ## Deliverables **_Data Layer Details: _** A) All insert, update, delete, and selects to be executed through stored procedures **_Business Layer Details:_** A) OOP Business Tier Objects needed: Asset, Report(has Asset as base object), Reports, Promotion, Promotions, CampaingType, CampaignTypes, Product, Products, Schedule, Schedules, with a few possible other classes needed - we can discuss details. B) Each object to have flag to indicate object state if new or altered C) All database operations to take place through utility classes (Reports, Promotions, CampaignTypes, Products, Schedules, etc.) D) Simple inline code documentation is needed for reference **_Presentation Layer Details:_** A) Find Report Page: the interface should allow drill down links to filter a list of report definitions with a link to the most current report document. The filter links will be generated from lists of Promotions, Products, and Campaign Types (in attached data schema). B) Report Details Page: list all report documents with 'business through date' (in attached data schema) C) 3+ Data Management Pages: The interface should allow users to add, delete, and update (1) promotions - each Promotion will have editable lists of Products, (2) Products, and (3) Campaign Types D) Edit Report Details Page: each Report definition will have editable lists of Promotions, Campaign Types, and Products E) Report Schedule Page: each reoprt definition will have information on where to pick up the report from a local directory (shcedule table in attached data schema). **_Deliverables: _**1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
