Convert PHP script to C / Apache module

Requirements: - Good knowledge of c / c++ - Experience with Apache 2.2 API - MySQL C API The attached code needs to be converted to an Apache module as speed is necessary. Also I understand that the MySQL queries could be optimized better to speed up performance. The file which needs to be converted is attached, please do not bid before looking at it. What's neccessary: - Smartly handle connections to MySQL and NOT simply connect and disconnect on each request. Using a connection pool would be nice. - Ensure the code will run as fast as possible. - The code will compile and run on Linux. (Windows support would be good too) Other Details: - Hard coding the MySQL connection details is ok.
