Address Book for MFC-based e-mail client

Address Book for integration into an e-mail client that we are developing in MFC. Features: 1. Vertical grid on left-hand side where address book entries can be viewed by any of the following fields: a) Nickname, b) E-mail address, c) Full name, d) First name, e) Last name, f) Title, g) Organization, h) City, or i) Country. Plus: Facility to Add new entry; Delete existing entry; New message creation with current recipient in "To" field, "Cc" field, or "Bcc field". 2. Square area on right-hand side where appears all of the following fields: a) Nickname, b) E-mail address that nickname expands to (auto-completion), c) Full name, d) First name, e) Last name, f) Work phone, g) Home phone, h) Cell phone, i) Title, j) Organization, k) City, l) Country 3. Importation of existing address book entries from following programs: Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora. Here are the needed interfaces for the Address Book module: 1. First of all, the Address Book uses its own files. For this I need the posibility to set the location of this file. 2. In order to develop the autocomplete in the Message screen, I need an interface function, which gets as parameter a string, a search key, and is returning another string, which is the found e-mail address. The search has to be developed in more steps. First the list of email addresses has to be searched and if there is no match then search the list of "Full Names". In case of step first, if email address is found, then only the email address has to be returned. In case of step two, when the search is done on Full Names, then the returned string has to be the following format: Full Name This function should look like: CString SearchAddressBook(const CString& strKey); Example: Lets say that we have only one e-mail ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. The New Message screen has a few buttons which allows the user to select the To, Cc or Bcc addresses. For this I need a simple screen, which easliy allows the user to complete these fields. The related screen proposal is attached and the functionality of this is self explained. Otherwise it is similar to Outlook Express. Note. Our email client is developed in MFC with VS2003.
