The task is to build the openCV 2.0 libraries from source, using Visual Studio (preferably VS2010beta) and CMake, so they can be used in x86 c++ projects in Visual Studio 2010.

openCV 2.0 (openCV-2.0.0a win32) is available for download here: ? <[login to view URL]>

The process of building openCV from source is explained here: ? [login to view URL]

## Deliverables

A bit of background on this project, for context.

I've developed research applications with openCV <1.0 and 1.1pre for several years, using VC++2003, 2005, etc.

The 'new' release of openCV 2.0a does not include libraries for Visual Studio, as noted here:

"Due to many technical problems the installation package does? not include pre-compiled OpenCV libraries for Visual Studio users."

They provide a very straightforward path to compile from source using CMake, here:

I completed a first attempt at building all using the guide and Visual Studio 2010 (beta x64), which is known to CMake a generator 'Visual Studio 10 Win64". ? Unfortunately, there are lots of linker errors and various other complaints, perhaps solvable.

The goal of this job is to take another stab, either in x64 Visual Studio 2010 (preferred), or in VS2008 x32, etc -- as long as Visual Studio 2010 will build from the libraries you compile.

That's it! ? Thanks for your time.
