Custom MUD Codebase

I'm looking for someone to code a basic mud. You would need to be able to connect through telnet, have movement, a very basic skill system, and a way for players to create their character along with some other things. The character creation should allow the player to choose a name and a profession. While in the game the player should be able to see their information (with an info command) which displays their name and profession. There should be a skills command which displays the skills available to them. No working skills would be necessary, just a command which would display them. The movement system would involve moving north, south, east, west, northeast, southeast, northwest, and southwest. Because there is movement there would need to be a few rooms that are available to move between. There should be very basic description for each room along with a title. It would also be good if it would display the directions which the player is able to move. An ingame way to make new locations and connect them is something that would be good too along with an ingame way to make items. Items should be able to be picked up and dropped at this point in time and when they are dropped the room description should show the item is laying on the ground. Picking up an item should use a get command and dropping should use a drop command. It would be a plus if you knew MUDs ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
