We've got a large Delphi 7 Win32 application that consists of about 100 units of nicely written object oriented code. What's the best way of protecting our code when we pass it onto you guys (ie remote coders) just in case we come across a bad guy? **How about:** Convert it to dcus with nag screens and just give you the source of the units you need? We believe this would allow coders to compile (a nagged version of) the entire program and just have part of the source. Will this work? Could you explain the ins and outs of trying to do this on multiple parts of the program with multiple coders? What if the coder suddenly needs another source file that is presently a dcu? Is that as simple as sending that unit? **Or is there a better solution for remote projects?** Note that the project is too interconnected to create mini-versions which compile in themselves. We have considered obfuscation and rejected it. In your bid please demonstrate yor apptitude to answer ALL of these points without answering them until we accept! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Wednesday Nov 23, 2005 10:40:52 AM: Could you broadcast this message to all unsuccessful bidders on this project: Thank-you all for providing useful comments. I was innundated by offers so quickly and I don't have sufficient funds to offer bonuses. I ended up accepting a bid which suggested I use JEDISVC. Please continue to bid on my projects. There will be a lot of Delphi projects coming . . ## Platform Delphi Win32
