AIM Client PocketPC

(AOL) AIM client for the Pocket PC 2003 SE Operating System 1. Application must run on ARM/XSCALE CPU's 2. Application must connect directly to AIM's server. (no proxy server in-between) 3. Application must have a configuration screen for adjusting host/port of the AIM server. 4. When the application is running in the background and gets an incoming message, it must display a notification icon on the Pocket PC's top status bar. 5. Application must be able to easily toggle between contact message windows via tabs. 6. Application must read/load contacts list from AIM's servers. 7. Application must have a contact screen options menu to allow hide/show of offline contacts and hide/show groups. 8. Application must be able to detect away/active/idle contact states and display a different icon for each. 9. When viewing the contact list and you receive a message from a contact, the icon of the contact must flash as well as a sound be played. 10. The 'enter key' must send the message. 11. ability to choose sounds to be played for notification ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
