The State of the Art Gallery (SOAG) is a cooperative of painters with around 20 members.. Each member has to sign up for "minding the store" at least 6 hours a month on average. Currently, members email the administrator with the hours they wish to work and the administrator manually enters their wishes on the web page and uploads it (see [login to view URL]). This is really inefficient, error-prone, and frustrating. Need: A calendar web page where each member can log on and enter/edit the hours for which he or she is going to sit at the gallery. The calendar would be public, but editable only by members. An admin would have to add users, as membership in the gallery is a big complicated deal. The site is hosted at [login to view URL] and has capability to use php and mySQL. I'd need this provided in a form I can install or have it installed. Wishlist: 1. Display only days and hours that gallery is open (currently 4 days/week, noon to various times) 2. Offer 1-hr blocks for signup -- checkboxes. radio buttons… 3. Possibility to associate special events with certain times. E.g., if there is an opening on Friday evening 5-8, then those hour-slots could be edited to say "Opening Night" as well as the name of the people signed up to sit. Perhaps only admin could make edits like this. 4. When a member signs up, a confirming email is sent to that member. 5. Would be nice: send a reminder email the day before the person is signed up to sit. 6. Another gallery calendar is the calendar of shows. [login to view URL] I can't really see how this could be integrated into a gallery-wide calendar or what the benefit could be; but maybe someone who really understand info architecture would think it's a good idea. 7. The calendar pages should stay within the site's design.
## Deliverables
I need to see a spec or mockup of the calendar before approving the project, and I'm willing to respond to as many questions as needed to get it clear. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
