First - I'm open to suggestions/options on how these guidelines could be modified to make the project better I would like a program that will: 1) Check a user-definable list of web addresses a variable number of times per day 2) Search the page for user-defined text combinations like a specific string, checking for one word "near" another word, a string with placeholders for numbers/letters, etc... If you are familiar with FACTIVA, I'm looking for something that will do that kind searching 3) If one or more of the text combinations is found, email a copy of the page to a specified email address, the subject line and sender should be able to be specified given the web address and text combination that caused the page to be selected I need the program to search in all languages (i.e. Chinese, Japanese, Russian, etc....) Program should be able to be run on a normally configured windows xp machine as a background application. I'd like to work with a programmer that would be willing and available to do modifications as I use the program and would like to make changes or install extra features/functionality ## Deliverables Rent A Coder requirements notice: As originally posted, this bid request does not have complete details. So for your protection, if you are interested in this project, please work-out and document the requirements onsite. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP Program must be compatible with a machine running: GNU and GPL components are ok
