We have an ecommerce website created using the PHPShop framework a couple of years ago. It's mostly working fine, but there are a couple of bugs and minor enhancements we want made to it. The original developer is not available.
We estimate it to be about 10-20 hours work, probably less if you're already experienced with PHPShop 0.8. We would want the successful bidder to at least familarise themselves with the PHPShop framework ([url removed, login to view]) before starting the project.
## Deliverables
The changes that we require are:
1) Home page. The content on it is currently hard-coded. The requirement is to set up as a template so it can be maintained in the admin section. The admin user must be able to:
a. Post a new text based message every now and then (the right hand side bit)
b. Specify a special promo (centre section). A large image with text.
2) Freight calculator.
a. Fix the bug where when a visitor selects a quantity of more than 1, the freight for only 1 item is displayed. The freight for one item should be multiplied by the number of items to ship.
b. <desirable> Replace our freight calculator with the off-site calculator at www.smartsend.com.au. Please quote on how much this would cost, as an option.
3) Admin interface: maintain product.
a. Fix the bug, where you change anything and all the images other then image 1 disappear forcing the operator to relink each image each time the smallest change is made to an item or subitem.
