The person building our website says she needs some help. The website has information that the general public can view, but it also has some restricted documents that we would like to make available only to members. Whenever a member clicks on a link to a restricted document or webpage, or on a "Login" link, we would like them to put in their login and password before being able to continue. We would also like to have a "Forgot Password" link, whereby they can enter the email address they used to register and they would automatically receive an email containing their password. We would like members' data to be stored in a database. The second part is creation of an email list subscription. We would like users to fill out a form with their name and email and have that recorded to a database. We would also like them to be able to unsubscribe. All visitors who register as members would be given an option to subscribe to this list. Email list subscribers would also be stored on a database. We would prefer coding in php. We can store tables in a MySQL database. To summarize, these are the deliverables: 1. Create a form for members to register so they can access restricted areas. 2. Create a database for members. 3. If visitors click on a restricted area or a login link, they will be invited to register as a member or to enter their login and password. 4. Create facility for members to retrieve forgotten passwords 5. Create a place on the website where all restricted documents and pages will reside. 6. Create a form for visitors to subscribe to emails. 7. Verify subscription email addresses. 8. Create a database for subscribers 9. Enable subscribers to unsubscribe automatically.
