ActionScript: Point Replotting Function

I need two functions in ActionScript. Function 1: Takes an array of four x/y points, defining a rectangle or square, and calculates the centerpoint of the shape. Function 2: Takes three inputs, x/y point 1, x/y point 2, degrees of rotation. If a line were drawn from x/y point 1 through x/y point 2, then rotated around x/y point 1 by the degrees of rotation (i.e. x/y point 1 does not change, x/y point 2 does), it returns the new coordinates of x/y point 2. This is pretty simple triginometry and shouldn't take more than 30-40 lines of well-commented code at maximum. If you're really good with both ActionScript and geometry, you should be able to do this in an hour or two. Perfect quickie for a Math major with Flash skills. If it's so simple, why am I contracting it out? My geometry skills are rusty. It's been 20+ years since I took a math class. It's faster and easier to shop this out than shake off the rust. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The project this will be added to is older... ActionScript 1.0, targeting Flash Player 6, so these functions must work in Flash 8 with publish settings of Flash Player 6 and ActionScript 1.0.
