Digital Image Medical Competency Review

We have a project which? uses a proprietary version of a microscopic image stored as a modified JPEG file.? ? The existing program uses a viewer program with a? Visual Basic 6 API and also? an online Flash viewer.? These current programs are currently aimed at the image creation process.? We need a coder to? develop an end user interface which allows only a small subset of features and can be used to step the end user through looking at a number of different features of the image.? ? In addition we need a simple quiz program that will allow the end user to answer specific questions about each feature.? That data will need to be captured and either saved in a web site database, or transmitted back to us in some way as an electronic datafile. ## Deliverables 1) Key need is a simple yet elegant interface to make it simple for an end user who is unfamiliar with graphics programs to display and then be directed about an extremely large image. 2) The ultimate goal is a web based project interfacing seamlessly with a simple quiz type program and with the ability to save the quiz responses to an online database for grading.? Some users at this time prefer/need to be able to run this program from a CD.? We have had reasonable luck simply using a CD based set of web pages and data that can be auto-generated with the parent program. 3) Further details will be disclosed as part of the project discussion.
