Hello I would do the following: help you to choose a wordpress theme(research for suitables), witch will be the base of the design, and customize it for you (change logo, colors, fonts, images - basically the structure is what we keep and some design elements that you like). In meantime I start adding the desired pages and also build a custom post type for the artist, paint and retreat. Wordpress is so much more than a blogging flatform! I choose to work this way because I noticed that the premium themes are far more advanced, customizable and beautiful, made by people who do this all day. I can also build simple themes, but I prefer to work with professionally made themes. The whole duration of the process I am available for questions, can help if you are stuck with the wordpress administration area and so on.
