The purpose of the Module/block is to 'catapult ' a moodle user into our Flash based virtual classroom. This module will require to have the following features.
**Scheduling ??"** The teacher will be able to schedule the time and date of an online class. For example. If Group101 has an English class in the virtual classroom every week at 2 pm. At that time a link will appear which says something like 'enter Live classroom'
**URL??"** We must have the option available to enter a url which points to the online classroom. As the online classroom may be on a dirent server depending on the Group. So. We maybe have an online classroom hosted on [[url removed, login to view]][1] or [[url removed, login to view]][2]
**Student verification.** ??" There are two bits of information we need to capture from Moodle. Room ID. This is the identification of the classroom itself. So for example the Room ID for the classroom used by group 101 might be 5484A. So each room has its own Room ID. This ensures the sutents log into the correct room. There is no need to verify the student username…however once a student link onto the link.. our classroom will look for the Room ID.. if this Room ID exists on our server.. they it will take there username from Moodle and place them in the classroom.
Below is some technical information that might be helpful. Module must support javaScript embedded flash 9 player (SWFObject)
Module must expose Moodle API (SCORM, AICC)
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
