We are creating a physician billing service ASP application for the US and European markets. Our initial website [login to view URL], explains the general market and customer. Our technologies include Java 5.0, EJB 3.0 draft spec, Hibernate 3.1, AJAX, and Wicket 1.1 using an SOA programming model. We have already completed the base infrastructure for the persistence model (the general database is ready and DDL is created). We are creating a virtual private database design that will be hosted on MySQL, ORACLE, or DB2 (depending on the customer). A demo presentation model is also available at http://demo.medigy.com. What we are looking for is for one or more Java engineers who can learn or already know the Wicket 1.1 presentation framework ([login to view URL]) to create CRUD data entry screens and basic workflow. Engineers who already know the healthcare world and are able to grasp very modern Java technologies would be the most successful. The general work that needs to be completed is attached in a high-level requirements spreadsheet. In the spreadsheet is a list of functions that we call "basic practice management" (marked with 'B' in the 'Ver.' column. This is our initial focus: create a demo of all 'B' features. See the "Legend" for more information about the 'ver.' and 'due' columns. Keep in mind that this is a fairly complex undertaking and you may not have an exact idea about pricing but I'd like to hear your thoughts on your development approach, general price, timeframe, etc. We can work together to come to agreement on pricing.
