My website allows users to create a customized home page, for example: [login to view URL] Once a user signs up, they may view the code of any user, and edit their code directly. Here is my code: [login to view URL] On the "view source" page, I want to replace the simple HTML text box with some sort of client-side program. I am open to suggestions, the only requirement is that it must integrate with PHP/MySQL. 1. I want this editor to automatically color the text, just like when "viewing source" in FireFox (for example, comments in green, etc). 2. This editor must include a search function so that I can find a snipet of text in the textbox (Firefox lets me search the PAGE, not the TEXTBOX) 3. Our service allows users to select features, for example search engines, to be added to the page automatically. In the editor, I want a "search engine" button which will automaticallty insert the "search engine code" into the textbox for direct editing. Your client side-app will have to pull the corresponding names, logos and codes from MySQL and insert them wherever the cursor was last place in the textbox. 4. I will want corresponding buttons for each feature: remote control, contacts, contact info, search engines, extras; all will work the same way- pull from MySQL, insert into textbox 5. I also want basic HTML edit functions; bold, italisize, underline, font, size, color picker, link, img, etc. Parse user input in the EASIEST possible way, and insert code into the textbox. I realize this may sound complicated, but once you have looked at the page, it should be very intuitive. It really shouldn't be very complicated at all. Finally, this program must detect a user's compatibility. If the user cannot view it (for example, if it uses flash at the user does not have flash) it must revert back to this old version automatically. Thanks for your time, Josh // MOJO Inc.
