One Hour Skype Consulting Session Needed with Experienced Developer. English speaking, must be good communicator and familiar with working with large datasets and API's like Census applications. What I will need from you: 1. A one hour skype consulting session to discuss how best to implement an API data source into a website. Possibilities are to include data within existing Wordpress site, and/or possibly just pull API data into standalone application. I would provide written info prior to call for you to review, and then would want you to go over your recommendations for how you would suggest implementing the API data. 2. If initial call goes well, and you have the capabilities to do so, I would want you to perhaps bid on follow up project where you would write specifications for the contracted project, including some wireframes. There are probably 3 pages of data that would need to be created from the API so this is not a huge project, but I want to make sure that I'm working with someone who can spec out the requirements properly to speed up the actual development process. So, for this initial stage, all you are bidding on is the review of a one page document which willl detail my need to pull in some API data, and then a one hour skype call to discuss how you would approach the project in terms of programming. You would not need to do any programming, just looking for your expertise so that we can actually discuss how best to approach the actual project first. A separate project will then be posted for you or another contractor to actually write the programming specifications for the project, and do a 3 page wireframe showing where the data will be displayed on the pages. This project, is for just the one hour skype call to discuss the project. Requirements: You must have experience in planning and implementing large datasets using API You must have some samples of previous API projects to show me when you provide your bid Contractor should also be an excellent communicator, English as primary language preferred, and have the ability to make suggestions for how best to implement API type projects once you are provided with the project data source and goals I will need the Skype discussion to occur sometime within the next week, so only bid if you are able to devote one hour of time during the next week to discuss Thank you for your time and interest in the project.
