bash script

I need to have a script written that will determine based off the input of a file what days a line was not found for. To clarify: I have a bash script that takes a report that is generated from a backup system. It cleans it up and then modifies a column from a number date into the day name of the date (IE: 10/30/07 = Monday). What needs to happen is I need a reverse of this file. Basically I need to know what lines do not appear with a certain day of the week. For example: 1 R00001 Path\To\Backup Set\user Monday 1 R00001 Path\To\Backup Set\user Tuesday I need a new file created that shows the Day of the week that do not show for that line: 1 R00001 Path\To\Backup Set\user Wednesday 1 R00001 Path\To\Backup Set\user Thursday 1 R00001 Path\To\Backup Set\user Friday 1 R00001 Path\To\Backup Set\user Saturday 1 R00001 Path\To\Backup Set\user Sunday Now mind you the information in Column's 1 2 and 3 will change.
