Okay basically i work as part of a charity organisation and we send charity clothes parcels to Asia and places alike. Now we have currently been using Microsoft Word and other crude methods to write invoices with relavent infomation (most work being done on paper). The way the organisation works (you need to know this in order to complete the task at hand) is we have ourselves in our home and a few agents around the city. Customers drop off their old clothes and such they want to send to their relatives back in Asia (mainly India). We take their details such as Name, address and phone number and also the delivery name, address and phone number. Then we ‘ship’ the parcel to asia via boat (not AIR as it keeps costs down as it is a charity). Now i have the database coded (done myself from the MS Access program tutorial) the database is very good and is not broken in any way. However the problem with this is that customers cannot track their parcels nor can the database be shared with our agents in other parts of the city. So thus i believe the database needs to be put on the web for the above mentioned problems. There are also a few other bits and bobs that need to be sorted as well, such as having the ability to print a bunch of invoices in one go (at the mo the database only allows me to print only one invoice at a time). I dont want this work just to be handed out and then done and myself then pay for it, i want to have a good working relationship with the coder so we can ‘beta test’ the project as we go along obviously the code will remain secure with you on your site till its all complete and until the works done. There maybe a few things that you can suggest to make the project better and we will take that fully onboard. Another reason why i belive it best to work together with the coder is so that in the event of future work we both understand each another and so on. I have uploaded the the AccessDB that youll be working on with some records as well. Thanks
