BACK-END CODING DEVELOPER

We are looking for a candidate who is creative and cooperative and can work collectively with our QA and general project manager. This posting is for a back-end programming position. Our short-term goal is to launch a beta version in 2-3 months for our newest concept of a social media platform. Essentially, we are trying to re-invent the way people compete and make bets with one another. Documentations and wireframes are complete. However, details for each specific module need to be coded from the ground up and is open to the programmer's creativity. We are still unsure of what languages/databases we'll need, so it'll be your job to help assess and develop that architecture. Responsibilities: - Work with QA Manager to assess requirements and help determine solutions - Work with Visual Designers to ensure solution compatible with interactive mediums - Design and write code and technical standards that is well structured, documented and tested - Finding and fixing bugs and scalability/optimization issues - Implementation of Facebook Connect's login API Preferred Qualifications: - Genuine interest in the latest technological developments in the industry - Strong understanding of Relational Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc?) - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts If interested, please reply back with samples of your previous work.
