A coder on RAC has just extraced a whole Postgres database into txt files for us.
We need these files linked up and pasted together to give us some working information in the form of a CSV file.
We need to extract recent order information from the txt file sent to us. The information we would need to get from the files are as follows,
1) Order Date (as we are only interested in orders since June 1st 2004
>- upto end of CD)
>2) Order Number
>3) Item Ordered
>4) Total Price
>5) Billing Name
>6) Full Billing Address Details
The person chosen for this would have to be UK based, as the information is on CD, so will have to be posted. It is very time sensitive this work, so we cant afford to have the CDs sent off around the world
A CSV with all information above must be returned to us for completion of the work.
I am sure a script or program could easily extract the needed data
Thanks
Jon
