Build a Website - Google App Engine Part 2

We are seeking a talent web architect with deep domain expertise in Python, Django, PHP, Symphony, HTML5. We are a small team of engineers working on a Cloud Video Recorder ecosystem enabling the consumers with a video camera to capture/upload and view their contents on their favorite mobile device. We have already developed a prototype that serves as a benchmark for our new video site that is targeted to be hosted on the GAE. The ideal candidate will participate in the design review and analysis of the current work flow and collaborate with the team to redesign and recommend a new work flow for the new GAE platform. Leveraging on the existing framework, the ideal candidate will use his/her expertise to develop the new website running on the GAE starting from the back end architecture all the way to front end layout. (See attached database schema.) Please note that this is a video centric web service, so the successful candidate should have a solid breath of codec experience both on the web browser (IE/Chrome) platform and the Android/iOS platform. We project this will be roughly a 4 weeks project with the weekly task broken down as followed: Week 1: Analysis, recommend new design Week 2: Implementation of backend w/ QA Week 3:Implementation for front end (reuse as much of the existing front end) Week 4: QA The successful candidate will also need to have the ability to participate in daily conference to touch base on the current progress and scheduling. We are seeking a candidate with the following skill sets and background: Mandatory skills Python & Django Experiance with Google App Engine HTML5 and CSS3 expertise Ability to develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices including smartphones and tablets Strong knowledge & extensive experience with OO JavaScript Profound insights of how the web works and how to make it efficient (HTTP requests, caching, page rendering, DOM manipulation, etc.) SVN Ability to learn new technologies quickly Bonus skills PHP & synphony Designer skills
