Add Menu Item to Eudora

Eudora, a popular email program, has an API for adding functionality to the program through loadable DLLs. I'm looking for someone who has done this who can provide source for a small program that adds a menu item (and a button bar button, if that's possible) to Eudora that would, when selected, exit Eudora and launch another program. One slight complication comes up if Eudora brings up a message box during the exit. I would appreciate suggestions for what to do in this very common case. It comes up, for example, if there are unsent messages in the out box.
